cruznliz Posted April 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2006 Having never been to that part of the world, we are thinking 10 days might not be long enough. Has anyone done a back to back? Is it too repetitious? Is repetition a good thing? Are the balcony cabins big enough for a 20 day cruise?? Thanks for any responses! ;)
donna5 Posted April 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2006 In 2003 we did B2B Cook Island and then the Samoan. On both you get to go to Riatea, Bora Bora, and Moorea. This allows you to do extra tours or diving or whatever the second time around. You will have time to explore further. We did a mini, but a balcony is fine also. With all our dive give a mini was better. This past October we did just the Marquesa route. We enjoyed all 3.

It was not too repetitious, we enjoyed going back to the common ports, beautiful places and we went for the water (beaches and snorkeling). Our Balcony Cabin was big enough. cruznliz Posted April 11, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted April 11, 2006 Thanks so much for your reply! We are narrowing in on booking for 2007!:D JLC: did you use Princess air? If so, do you remember how much it was and if it was convenient? Did you have to pay the customizing fee because you were back to back? Thanks again! WeBeGone Posted April 11, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2006 We're booked on a b2b for this November. No air deviation fee was charged. Air thru Princess was less than I could book it myself.

If so, do you remember how much it was and if it was convenient? Did you have to pay the customizing fee because you were back to back? Thanks again! The only reason you would pay a deviation fee, would be if you specified what flights(times) you wanted, or if you did your own pre or post cruise and needed flights on diff dates than the 1st cruise starts or the 2nd cruise ends. Other than that you won't have any deviation fees as long as you take whatever flights Princess assigns you.
