First Time Cruiser - Millenium Cabin/Deck Q

We're traveling on the Millenium, our first-ever cruise, and I'm obsessing over everything, but mostly the cabin selection thing.

I'm getting a cabin with a veranda, and the cabin they're giving me is on the Sky Deck, 9075, so a little forward of midship, and I've been reading all this stuff about how those aren't good because the Resort Deck above overhangs it and obscures your view or it's noisy or a lot of traffic. Anyone have any advice they can give me on that? Should I take this one??? What deck would be better?

I so appreciate it!!

Chris,

The first time we cruised we were given a similiar cruise. I was so excited nothing could spoil our cruise.

That being said if you have a chance to change it to something that is not under the pool area I would. There is a lot of scraping of chairs especially in the arly morning when they are cleaning the pool area.

The overhang did not bother me.
