Flip Flop Posted April 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2006 We would like to do Tahiti the end of March 2007 but would like to know what to expect with the weather. Has anyone gone that time of year? I know it's low season, but how rainy is it? Is it a heavy humidity?  HELP!!!!
mummsie Posted April 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2006 March shouldn't be too wet. Wet season is summer in this part of the world. March is heading into autumn so normally would be ok unless of course there are cyclones around as there were this year. Mummsie
SingerEsq Posted April 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2006 How about early January in Tahiti? We're planning on January 2008 .... but worried about weather.
rwdtgb Posted April 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2006 We have gone to Tahiti in March twice the latest was last month. We have had great weather both times and yes the humidity is high. There always seems to be a breeze close to the water and you can spen a bunch of time in the water. Tom
IrisBob Posted April 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2006 We were there in January of this year. We had some rain, which is not unusual. When we were there in October we had rain also. The rain is warm and it certainly didn't stop us from snorkeling. We loved it so much we plan on also going back in January 2008 with our entire family. Go for it!!!!! :)
