Pacific Sun to brisbane

hi all Pacific Sun cruises. Just picked up new broucher from TA. the SUN will be sailing out of brisbane from dec2007. What a bummer. What is wrong with melbourne that there is no cruises from here. If we want to cruise again on SUN we will have to pay more to fly to brisbane. TO drive there and leave the car some where will be as dear(if not more ) than flying. Iam one very sad puppy. What do you all think? suexxx:mad:

So no itineraries for the Sun out of Melbourne? Is every single departure out of Brisbane?

 

Sorry if I am behind on all of this but where will the Star be cruising out of?

As a Melbourne based cruiser this plain sucks...

Seems a bit strange to have both Sun & Star sailing out of Brisbane over the summer? Oh well, if it's true - at least we'll have a choice.

 

The last I heard though, new itineraries weren't going to be released until next week.

We'll have to have a look for it tomorrow when everything opens. I would say they probably decided that they didn't get enough interest in cruises out of Melbourne when the ran them over the summer just gone - so need to look to where the market is? Sun will come to Brisbane to provide more capacity out of Brisbane over summer (Sun takes more passengers) withs Star going to Auckland season for NZ passengers.....

If you go to the P&O website you can download the Ultimate Family Holiday Brochure by clicking on the brochures tab. It does say that both the Sun and Star will sail out of Brisbane (with the star also doing Auckland) and the Pacific Dawn from Sydney. Maybe the Sun will do Asia????
