excursions with a large group

I posted something similar on the Progresso forum, but didn't get much response. We are cruising on Carnival Ecstasy in Nov. So far, 18 family members have booked, ages 4 months (currently in utero) to 63. I'd love to hear your experiences with large groups.

TIA

First of all, with a group that large be flexible... don't expect to do every or even most excursion together. If you can download the itineraries for each port, try sending to everyone and see what everyone is interested in and try to find one that everyone can agree on. If you can't, that's ok too.

Another thing, try to decide the day before what everyone is going to do. Otherwise, you may end up wasting time trying to figure out who is going where and with who.

Just relax and enjoy.... it's a vacation!
