Fun~N~Sun Posted April 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2006 My husband and I are in our mid 40's and we will have our two young adult kids with us they are both in their early 20's. Any bars that we would all enjoy at any of the ports that Destiny visits?
GoinCruisin Posted April 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2006 You might want to check the various ports of call boards.... there are always fun bars at every port :D But those boards might have more specifics!! I don't know what ports that ship visits, so I can't help ya... but good luck!
pholter Posted April 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2006 ABSOLUTELY!!! :) :) Please see my review in my signature link below for details, but here are a few to consider: San Juan- The Water Club Boutique Hotel, Liquid (Isla Verde area) and Club Lazer (OSJ) Lots of great bars, etc in OSJ, just walk up and down the cobblestone roads and listen for the music. Dominica- None, sorry Barbados- The Boatyard (just a few minutes from the terminal and everyone goes there- Carlos 'n Charlies type) Aruba- Carlos 'n Charlies of course, but we preferred the place next door called Cafe Bahia (cheaper drinks, stronger drinks, live band, no cover) and the Choose My Name Bar across the main road on the 2nd floor with a Neon sign (fantastic live Salsa Band, lots of locals, big bar)... And thanks for the link to your review! It's the most informative I have read about this cruise! I have printed it so I can read it over and show the rest of my family! 41 days and counting!
