Countdown Clocks

Recommended Posts

i think the important thing is to make sure that your http address is not a link. i kept trying to fix my clock with the correct tags at the beginning and the end, but since my http address was still a link it wouldn't work. but then duh! i finally figured it out!

Yep, I did the same thing. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working either. Once the http address is no longer a link - VOILA - countdown clock!

http://escati.linkopp.net/cgi-bin/countdown.cgi?trgb=000000&srgb=00ff00&prgb=00bfff&cdt=2004;9;11;17;00;00&timezone=GMT-0500

ok if you are working on your countdown clock... to make it work, the http address can't be underlined (like the one above is)

what you need to do is go up to the very end of the http address where it says GMT-0500, press backspace once, you should immediately see that the http address is no longer underlined....

then you need to enter in the following tag line

<BR><IMG SRC="

now immediately after the " you enter in the http address that is not underlined

and then you end the whole thing ">

the only spaces should be between the IMG and SRC other than that there are no spaces

try this in edit your signature under USER CP.. then you can preview your signature and see whether or not it works...

does this help?

If I edit my signature, the countdown clocks get messed up even if I didn't change them.:(

for some reason mine does the same thing... so i've decided to stop messing with my signature since i've gotten tired of reprogramming the clocks to work!

Hopefully this works for me....I think that I have the dates backwards! :p Where is everyone getting their cute little avatars from? I need a poodle!

I have Smiley Central on my computer at home. I did a search for "Cruise" and my avatar is one that it came up with.
