Alcohol Question????

Traditionally, you have been able to "pre-order" liquor prior to the cruise for delivery to your cabin. Additionally, you have been able to order through room service or at the lobby bar for delivery to your room.

Lately, people have been told that you can no longer order liter bottles of liquor "pre-cruise" but they are supposed to be able to order a "drink package" that includes a 375 ml bottle and a couple cans of mixer.

Some people have also reported that they were told that they could no longer order 1 liter bottles through room service. That was not the case on our March 4th sailing on Grand.

I'm not sure where Princess is headed with this.

As for BYOB of liquor aboard the ship ... policy say you can bring wine & bubbly but not booze. Reality is often different. It is reported that beer and soda, brands not sold on the ship, can be brought aboard.

There are plenty of threads on this forum that discuss the subject and many take passionate views on the subject.

Enjoy!
