Rdwhite1999 Posted April 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2006 We are thinking of booking the Dawn cruise out of New York this September for the Canada/New England itinerary. We will be flying from SC into NY and would like to stay a couple of nights before the cruise in New York City. I know that NCL offers pre-cruise hotel options but I am needing help to decide if we would be better to book this through NCL or on our own. We have only been to NY city once several years ago and do not know much about which hotels would be best for a pre-cruise stay - any suggestions with this one? signman Posted April 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2006 September is one of the busiest most expensive times of the year for hotels in NYC. Use one of the search engines to find hotel rates for your dates, compare to the NCL rates and decide. Distance from the port does not matter, there are no free shuttles. What hotels does NCL offer, at what price? Search engines you can use are http://www.hotels.com, http://www.orbitz.com, http://www.expedia.com, http://www.travelocity.com
Rdwhite1999 Posted April 18, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 18, 2006 NCL offers the Sheraton and the Holiday Inn Manhattan has their choice hotels for NYC. Is the month of October any cheaper for hotels in NYC?
