happycruising2 Posted April 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2006 Specifically on NCL, is there alot of activity on the ship during port days, especially when docked overnight? I see also that the Spirit stays overnight at Great Stirrup Cay, but only from 7:00pm til 2:00pm the next day...seems like not alot of time to enjoy the island. Anyway...I will be cruising with 3 kids (7, 9, and 16) and if I choose a Bermuda cruise, I'd like to be able to go back to the ship also for activities - is there anything going on? Does the kids club stay open during port days? Thanks!

smeyer418 Posted April 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2006 Bermuda people leave ths ship and only come back for meals. They will have entertainment but its pretty quiet on the ship. No the Kids crew is not open on port days unless you pay extra for it. As to what they are going to do at Stirrup Cay at night, I don't think anyone knows yet, Maybe survivor GSC,,, The casino is closed while the ship is in Bermuda here is the kids crew info KID’S CREW HOURS Sea days: 9 am – noon 2 pm – 5 pm 7 pm – 10 pm Sea days & port days: 7 pm – 10 pm GROUP SITTING HOURS Sea days: 10 pm – 1 am (Sign up by noon on the same day) Port days: 9 am – 5 pm (Sign up by 5 pm on the previous day) 10 pm – 1 am (Sign up by noon on the same day) GROUP SITTING COST$5 per child per hour $3 per child per hour for additional children in the same family
cruiserssandr Posted April 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2006 There are still lots of things happening while the ship is docked in Bermuda. They don't have the big produciton shows at night but there is something in the Palance Theater every night. Casino and all ships stores are closed while in Bermuda. There are also activities during the day for those who do not want to get of the ship.

Will I have to pay for the kids in the club between 7 & 10pm ? It isn't really clear in the above schedule. Thanks, ~Connie
