Carnival Recommendations

I have previously sailed the Glory and Triumph with my wife, and just completed a trip on Caribbean Princess with wife and teen-age daughter. While I enjoyed Princess, I think I prefer Carnival, but am looking for recommendations on other ships that a 17 year old might enjoy. Prefer Eastern or Western Caribbean cruises. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

We sailed on the Valor, we really enjoyed her, she sails to the Western and Eastern as well. Your daughter will have a great time on the Valor.

I second that on the Valor. For DW and myself, we prefer the intimate atmosphere of the Imagination but with our teen kids we prefer the Valor!

We really enjoyed the Miracle and it gets pretty good reviews too.

 

I liked the size and the funky decor.

Conquest! It was great! I saw a lot of teens last year. I met a couple who had three teenage girls, and they said that they missed them, because they had met so many people. Very colorful!

Valor was a great ship and great itinerary - 4 port days, 2 sea days.

Conquest was also a great ship - but we had 3 ports, 3 sea days.

 

We've only gone on school vacations (usually President's Week) so there were a lot of kids of all ages (including teens). Both were Western Carib.

 

Our Liberty cruise this year to Costa Maya, Costa Rica and Panama seemed to have less kids -- probably more popular for families to cruise on Liberty to Eastern Carib.
