Smart Casual, what is it

The documents for our upcoming 13 night transatlantic on Voyager lists *3* formal nights, *4* smart casual, and the remainder casual. I can't possibly pack that many dressy outfits so I'm renting a tux and going with the "khakis and dress shirt, possibly a tie" look on smart casual. I've never done a transatlantic, but certainly on my other cruises the dress has definitely been sliding more towards "resort casual" and away from ties and sportcoats.

Have fun on your cruise. Have a friend here locally is doing that cruise. She got a great price and it's her first transatlantic/european cruise and very excited. Voyager was her first ship and glad to be back on her.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to it. I've sailed Navigator, but not Voyager. The longest cruise I've taken is 7 days, so I'm looking forward to the extra time-to-unwind. Now I just have to figure out what to pack for those 5 sea days!
