Leaving out of LA to the Mexican Riviera - need hotel

Hi all - anyone sailing out of LA? We are going on the Diamond out of LA to the Mexican Rivierra and want to find a hotel that will do airport transfers and/or free parking while we are on our cruise. Ideally we would love a hotel that could pick us up at the airport, take us to the cruiseport and store our car for us - don't want much, do we????

If you are flying into LA do you plan on paying for a rental car to sit in a garage for a week? All LAX hotels have free shuttle service from the terminals to their respective hotel. Many have parking programs (you may have to call a few, but I know Hilton does) whereby you can leave your car for a specified number of days as long as you stay one night. None of the hotels will drive you to the pier, it's about a 30 min. ride (if traffic is good). You will need to either get a cab (figure about $60) or use SuperShuttle or Primetime Shuttle (to name two companies). Both have websites showing their prices. You can also hire a town car/limo if you so desired. If you have car then you can stay in San Pedro and be close to the port. The Holiday Inn Express has a park and stay program but you need to call them directly. They will also shuttle you to the ship.

We stayed at the Marina Hotel in San Pedro the day before our cruise. The hotel officers free parking while on the cruise and free shuttle service to/from the ship. Their phone # 310-514-3344.

Oh, no we are not planning on renting a car. My in-laws are driving in from Las Vegas and we are hoping to store their car. Thanks for the info about the Marina. If that doesn't work out we will probably take the Super Shuttle.
