Murphy Posted April 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Can anyone tell me about the beach at MoomBa Beach and Bar? It's on Palm Beach between the Marriot and Holiday Inn, and we are considering going here for the day, but I haven't really found a lot of info on it. TIA
raven79 Posted April 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2006 I went their twice during my vacation last August and had a good time on both occassions. I made reservations via their website for a sunset view table...AMAZING. Dinner was delicious and I am a VERY picky eater. Lucky for us Happy Hour and Sunset fell at the same time :-) We went again w/ some friends after our Sunset Cruise got cut short b/c of a approaching storm. We sat in one of the bars. It was a great time. Great atmosphere, great bartenders...very fun time.
Murphy Posted April 25, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 25, 2006 Thanks. Did you notice the beach/lounge chair facilities? We want to spend the day there and are hoping it's nice for hanging out on the beach too.
raven79 Posted April 28, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2006 There were chairs scattered about, but I am not sure if they are part of the Marriott, the Holiday Inn or if they were for Moomba Beach patron use. I am sure you could sue what you needed w/o any problem. When I made the dinner reservations, I had a few questions and they were great communicating with me via email. Have a wonderful time! bankofdad Posted May 1, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Take a look at www.moombabeach.com. It'll answer as lot of your questions. click on "activities" and it'll answer your question about the lounge chairs, etc. Hope this helps!
NoNoNanette Posted May 2, 2006 #6 Share Posted May 2, 2006 BankOfDad- I just LOVE your moniker! :) It brought back fond memories of mom and I referring to my father as "THE WALLET". ;) (My dear husband has since "earned" that title).
