caidenmoto Posted April 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Please help me find a reputable company as we were interested in small group catamaran/snorkling tour. Thanks.
AFamilyCruiser Posted April 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2006 We took a snorkeling trip with Jessie James Cruises out of Hamilton when we were in Bermuda in 2004. The boat picks you up right down the street form where our ship was docked. It stops at 3 different spots and it was a lot of fun. Here's a link to their website: http://www.jessiejames.bm/snorkelling.asp
Twinsmomct Posted April 27, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2006 I'll second that opinion on Jessie James Cruises. They are fun, knowledgeable, and a good time!:)
Joanandjoe Posted April 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2006 The current water temperature is 69.6 degrees F., which means it is likely to be under 75 - possible a lot under 75 - when we'll be in Bermuda from May 15 to 18 on the Zenith. Air temperature is also under 75 now, with most days in the 10 day forecast under 70. That sounds awfully cold for snorkeling, or even for the helmet dives. Does Jesse James offer anything more appropriate for mid-May than snorkeling?
Jeepers385 Posted April 28, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Heck J&J you know we're all from Jersey where the water temp never gets to 75 until August.:D We actually leave next Saturday from Philly and have been to Bermuda before the 1st week of May. The water was cool but we actually enjoyed it, reminded us of the Jersey shore. Debbie
Jeanne S Posted April 28, 2006 #6 Share Posted April 28, 2006 I was not aware Jesse James used Catamarrans. I highly recommed Rising Son II and the web site is: http://www.charterbermuda.com/pages/877302/index.htm Click on Rising Sun. You can email the company: info@charterbermuda.com I bumped up the "Rising Sun" post which is by Captain John Beez.
