AFAMILY Posted April 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2006 We just booked our first cruise. It's on the Dawn, sailing 9/2 for New England and Canada. Has anyone taken this cruise before and if so, we were wondering if you could share your experiences/thoughts with us. Our stateroom is an ocean view w/balcony on deck 9. This is all new to us, so any information you can offer is really appreciated, thank you. Tony and Marie
CruisinMK Posted April 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Check both the rollcall forum for your ship/date and the ports of call forum for canada/NE.
lovetheocean21 Posted April 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2006 you love love this ship and ports - I've been on the dawn 5 times. I did the new england canada cruise on Princess last year in Sept and it was great. With a balcony is even better. 50 cruises and 50 more to go. chessie68 Posted April 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2006 We will be on that same cruise. There is a roll call on the roll call board for it. This will be the first time the Dawn has done this itinerary. I'm wondering when they will put shore excursions up on the NCL site for this cruise. AFAMILY Posted April 24, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted April 24, 2006 I was told by NCL that they would be listing the shore excursions for this cruise 90 days prior to the first sailing which is 9/2......so I'm guessing the listing will appear around 6/2....they do list the excursions from 2005 but the ports appear different. AFAMILY Posted April 24, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted April 24, 2006 We're really looking forward to it. I looked at the Princess cruise but the ports on NCL were perfect for us......thanks for your input.
