TEXASMUNK Posted April 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Back for our 11 night Galaxy cruise to the Panama Canal. The word is SPOILED. We were definately treated FAMOUSLY!!!!! Weather: Perfect Service: Perfect Galaxy: Minor wear, but still a beautiful ship Kudos to the entire staff. MV Galaxy had a monor outbreak of Norovirus the cruise before us, they delayed boarding by several hours, cleaned the ship top to bottom and never stopped the entire 11 days. We heard of 2 people who were ill and confined to their cabin for 48 hours. Galaxy did it right!! We will miss this wonderful ship when she leaves Galveston in 12 days, currently not scheduled to return. If you want to be pampered.....spend time every evening in Michael's. superjerryw Posted April 26, 2006 #10 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Are you sure you had a good time. How could you possibly have had a good time on a ship that has some fogged up windows in the lounge. Perhaps you should rethink this and then you'll realize that you had a terrible time and demand a free cruise. All of those other people whose cruise was ruined by the fogged up windows couldn't possibly be wrong could they...... We did the 11 night Med cruise on Galaxy this past September and it was definitely one of the best cruises we have been on. C 2 C Posted April 26, 2006 #12 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Once Century has been refurbished I'm sure the other C-class ships will have the same or similar upgrades:).
Eleris Posted April 28, 2006 #13 Share Posted April 28, 2006 SuperJerry - I was there and believe me with the amount of Martoonies that the cruise critic group was drinking the windows were clear and we were fogged! We actually figured that if you start in the Martini bar and head to the bow of the ship you can hit about 4 bars before you get to the fogged windows and who really cares at that point! Gosh it was a great trip with the most amazing people from these boards. Who woulda thunk it would go so well and for the record --- They looked MARVOLUOUS on the formal nights all dressed up!:D

I think Tuggers will soon fit in your class.
