Price adjustment question

I just booked the Sun in October. When booking I used a Latitudes upgrade certificate good for up to a two cat. upgrade. I booked cat. J and paying for cat. K (which is only 1 upgrade).

My question is... if the price goes down for my cruise, which catagory do I go off of the J or the K? Also is it still possible to do/get an upsell if you have used an upgrade certificate?

 

Love these message boards...I didn't find out about them until after my Oct '05 Dream trip. It would have been nice to have all the info I have now!

You go by the J cat. I did the same thing his past Sept. for my Dawn cruise. And I also received a upsell from a BC to a AB. Im going on the Spirit this sept. and I also sent in the certificate and NCL gave me a $40 credit off my invoice.
