Anyone Been on the Mariner of the Seas in Late July?

Recommended Posts

I'm going on July 30th with my husband and my 4 and 9 year old and I was wondering if anyone wanted to share their experiences on this ship. We've only been on one other cruise, The Sovereign of the Seas which was pre-kids, 12 years ago!

I wasn't crazy about it, I thought the sea days were a bit dull and was not overly impressed with the ship. Now with kids, I'm thinking I'll give it another try. I've heard good things about this ship and I'm hoping there'll be a dramatic difference from the Sovereign.

We're getting a Superior Balcony cabin so that's a step up, we didn't have a balcony cabin our first time. I've read that's it's definitely worth the money especially with kids. We'll all 4 be in there so it will be tight!

I'm also a bit nervous about the Norwalk virus with my kids if I choose to put them in the kid's program. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with that? I try not to worry too much but that could really ruin the trip!

Any information is much appreciated!
