bocacruiser Posted April 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Please give any insight on any major differences. Thanks!:)
wraithe Posted April 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Captain Johnny, skipper of the Mariner, referred to Freedom as a "stretched" Voyager class. Other than size, the difference that I noticed and would like to see is the cantilevered, glass bottom hot tubs. Hanging over the edge of the ship, soaking in a hot tub and watching the ocean seems like it'd be a thrill.
cmich068 Posted April 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Freedom, for all purposes, is a streched Voyager class with a few extra things..... remember what it was first called by RCCL? "Ultra-Voyager".

They are cantelivered over the edge surrounded by glass, but the bottom is not glass. Sorry to dissapoint you. Also, to the O.P. Freedom class was originally called "Ultra-Voyager" class. It is merely 100 or so feet longer, with more amenities, but is just an extended Voyager class. Same ship design.
