OutdoorsPro Posted April 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2006 If you're in shape for a bit of an uphill hike, you can pan on your own at Gold Creek in Juneau. Just ask anyone for directions. It's a very nice hike through downtown Juneau that will take you to one of the major, former mining hubs. You'll need your own pan 'n stuff. midnight302 Posted April 27, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 27, 2006 can you rent the equipment?
OutdoorsPro Posted April 27, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2006 Don't think so, as there really isn't anyplace to rent it. You can buy some gear in town and it's not too expensive.
