Balcony Cabin

Recommended Posts

Anyone have an opinion of this location (8604) at end of hump? Wish I was on port side however. Not thrilled about having a connecting door inside cabin -- is it as soundproof as the wall? All of our family have scattered balcony locations on deck 8.

What is the narrow passageway between 8032 & 8034? Is that where the window-washing equipment is located? Sure hope not -- 8032 is where our son & new wife are.

We were in 9580, just slightly off the front of the hump and loved it. The balcony angled just enough to be able to see what was ahead of you.

Now looking at the balconies that were more on the {front} angle of the hump{9576,9578}the had a great view in front of them but none behind them. Also all the other cabins could look directly into their cabin.

8504 will have no view at all in front of it, all the cabins behind will see directly into it. Just my opinion but I would think that it could possibly be one of the worse choices.

We would choose 9580 again.

Hi JJOHN I was there for a crossing on it's maiden transatlantic. The balcony is deeper than the ones on the sides (excluding suites those are HUGE) You have a great wide unobstructed view. You are provided with 2 chairs and a small table but there is room for 2 chaise loungers! Yahoo! The pitfall is that you always have the aromas from the kitchens and stack.

We are planning on a 2006 Hawaii to Vancouver and need to know which side is better--port or starboard--in order to view the islands? We will have our first balcony. I know the port side hump cabins have a bigger balcony but is it on the side to see the islands? We don't know if we will do D or E? Any suggestions.

Why not an aft cabin since you are starting your plans so early and can probably get one. That way you see both sides all the time, and you get a larger balcony. Here are my pics of Brilliance, cabin 1100, JS...portside on the aft:
