Where to snorkel?

If you are going on a cruise, i would save the snorkeling for the ports and sight see in San Juan or drive up to the rainforest. The best snorkeling is off shore so you would have to hire a boat. The waters around San Juan aren't the most ideal for snorkeling. In fact, the entire north shore of Puerto Rico fronts the Atlantic, where the waters are often turbulent, The south shore would be the calmest water to snorkel in the town of Ponce.

Beware, last time i was in San Juan there were huge basketball size jelly fish right at the shore.
