Guest referral program

Seabourn does have a rewards program for guest referrals. After you sail on Seabourn, you receive a letter describing the program and containing a certificate. You can give that certificate to the person you want to refer. They send in the certificate with their final payment, and both the referring Club member and the refer-ee get onboard credits, after the new person sails. The award is $400, so it's worth doing, for sure. You can get extra certificates by calling Seabourn.

They have a long series of threads about their program on the Crystal board but I didn't see any threads on this board so assumed there wasn't one.

Sounds decent...

Any one want to refer me, too? :D

Phil,

When I get home from work tonight, I will forward an Email from my TA which discussed your question. Like the "Open bookings" done onboard, you have 2 years form the date on the voucher to apply your discount voucher that Seabourn mails to you (and it seems to take forever). The voucher is worth $400 in onboard credits subject to the terms on the voucher youreceive form Seabourn. I think casino chips are excluded.

If you need a "sponsor" I will be happy to oblige. I will have to look at the voucher to see what information is reqiured (name and mailing address) and let you know in my Email to you.

Lefty Bob,

When Seabourn snail mailed you the 2006 early 2007 brochure, there was a a one-page insert with two such coupons with your name and Club Number printed on them. If you do not have this, then I think I read elsewhere that if you call the Club Desk, they wil be most happy to send more coupons to you. Good for you to help expand the Seabourn Family!:)

I'm already booked but have not sent in my final payment - am I out of luck?:(

We are in the same situation ... can we still take advantage of the referral program as we are first-timers?

DisneyJen,

Yes, there is still time and you are not too late. Please see my post #9 above. The following text is on the back of the current referral coupon:

“Original referral coupon must be received prior to sailing. $400 Onboard Gift Certificates are per suite, non-transferable and will be issued once the referee makes final payment. Onboard Gift Certificates expire 24 months form date of issue, are not redeemable for cash, have no residual value, cannot be used in the casino and are not combinable with any other onboard credit offers. Referred friends and family members may not have already sailed with Seabourn. Offer is subject to change without notice.”

If you would like me to refer you, I would be much obliged! Please Click here to Email Paul andEmail me your name (on the booking) and your mailing address. I will then snail mail the coupon to you. You only have to provide your name, address and Email address. You or your TA can mail it to Seabourn but I would recommend that you include a note stating your first Seabourn cruise booking number. After final payment is received, Seabourn mails you the actual $400 Onboard Gift Certificate for you to, I believe, hand to the Purser when you get onboard the cruise you wish to apply the credit to.

All the best and welcome aboard Seabourn Cruise Line!

I gave my TA the referral coupon for my trip with my final payment in March. I haven't received a coupon to give to the on-board purser. Is the credit in their computer or should I receive a physical coupon?

I am sailing on June 10 and haven't yet received my docs. Will the coupon be with the travel docs?

Thanks

GreatTimes,

It is done automatically and will appear on your onboard account. I would have your TA contact Seabourn about 1 month before departure and make sure the credit appears on your account. Things have a way of falling through the cracks sometimes.

My email is GRtravel at Abiagioni dot com ;)

Still have an extra coupon in case someone is interested.
