Jsme Posted April 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2006 A bunch of us will be going to 7 mile and then to Senor Frogs. We will have to take a taxi three different times. I know GC is very expensive. Does anyone know the taxi fees for Grand Cayman. Are they set to per person or per ride? My Dh was told it was a $15 fee per person for each stop. That would make it cost us a told of $90 for the day!
zydecocruiser Posted April 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2006 $5 per person per ride seems like a reasonable estimate. Not sure why you need 3 taxi rides, but if so, would come out to around $15/pp for the 3 stops, not for each stop. I would think you could walk to/from Senor Frogs. twinkletoes4445 Posted April 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Senor Frogs is in the port area. It's on one of the side streets, so you could just walk to the ship from there.
mayaglenn Posted April 30, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2006 Depends on where you are going. Prices in GC are set per person. To SMB (Seven Mile Beach) it is $4 us per person to the southern half of SMB and $5 us per person to the northern half - each way. Frog's is within 1-3 blocks of all the cruise ship terminals so you will only have to pay the taxi to and from the beach. They can even drop you off at Frog's on the way back. You can also use the public bus system, which you can hail anywhere in the streets, for $2.50 us per person.
