May- Storm Season?

Im traveling mid May and my tickets are really cheap. Maybe b/c the storm season is approaching down there in a few wks?

You really should't have stormy weather. Rain comes and goes quickly, (liguid sunshine) and seas are mild. Late summer is when we start to see big storms brewing. It's rare to see them May/June.

Hurricane Season doesn't begin until June 1st. Even the normal "Florida afternoon thunderstorm season" doesn't begin until June (which would effect the Bahamas too). Even though the season begins in June, hurricanes that early would be very rare. The rates are proabably lower because the summer season rates doen't kick in until the first or second week in June.
