Cruising89143 Posted May 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Do you have to pay in cash or can you pay with a debit card? Cash, Visa or Mastercard. Don't think that they are set up for debit cards. Price was $12.00 a day paid at the time of parking.
kittymom65 Posted May 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2006 our debit card has the visa logo, and we were able to pay with it. they did not ask for the pin #, so I guess they ran it as a credit card.

CruznTom Posted May 1, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2006 If you want to go the relaxing route, you can get a hotel (with free parking and about the same price as parkingat the pier) the night before and a $4 shuttle will get you to the ship fully rested. Hotels allow you to leave your car for 9 days even if you only stay 1 night. I think we'd love that, do you have any recommendations for hotels around the port. Thanks. CruznTom Posted May 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted May 1, 2006 One night at the new Residence Inn gets us 14 days of parking for our upcoming Back to Back. There also is a web site called parksleepfly that shows most major cities.

They will shuttle you to and from the pier for no charge. Enjoy!!:D
cage keeper Posted May 1, 2006 #9 Share Posted May 1, 2006 We are booked at the Radisson the night before and It's not quite free. If you choose to leave your car there, the nightly rate is 32.00 more. We choose to park at the port so we can hit the road as soon as possible. The food at the hotel restaurant is wonderful also.
ciship Posted May 15, 2006 #11 Share Posted May 15, 2006 If parking at the cruise terminal, are there any "special" spots to park that will make it easier to embark/debark? Is it covered parking??
