What to do and see???

I am going to be in Barbados off of AOS in July. I have not been to this island and am looking for the best things to do while here!

 

I do not want to join an excursion I would rather spend my time shopping, enjoying the beaches and seeing the sights. What must I NOT miss? What is the best beach, the best place to shop and the sights that I need to go too?

Visit the Pelican Village for items made on the island. It's within walking distance of the pier, straight ahead and to the after the security booths. If you're looking for a beach to just relax and take in the splendor, do visit the Crane's. There's another thread here about how to get there either through the hotel or through the public access. If you want a beach for swimming/snorkeling, sorry can't help there. Maybe the Boatyard.

 

Not to be missed -- Harrison's Cave, the North Point (Mother Nature is pretty powerful and it's evident here, just beautiful)

How are you doing? Did not hear from you b4 your cruise came to Barbados. I guess it must have gotten really busy. Oh well...maybe next time:)
