Best Western Marina Inn - Fort Lauderdale

Does any one know what has happened to the Best Western Marina Inn, Fort Lauderdale ??

 

I was looking for a hotel for an upcoming cruise in Jan. 07, and can't get any rates for this location. It doesn't even appear on the Best Western Web site.

 

Has it closed up or changed names ??

 

I ended up booking the Holiday Inn Express Convention Center, as it appears rooms are already being gobbled up by Super Bowl Fans !

I heard that it closed up. We were there in February 05 and it wasnt too nice. Kind of dirty and needed to be updated so be glad it was closed when you tried to book it.

We were in the area in 2/06 and it was no longer on Water Taxi whistle stop. We stayed there in 04 and it was horrible.

 

If you'd like, the Days Inn Bahia Cabana is lots of fun, on the Intracoastal and walking distance to the Water Taxi.
