Nice Places to Get Married?

My fiance and I are getting married in the Cayman Islands when we pull into port. I'm planning the wedding entirely by myself in order to save money.

 

Does anyone know of any nice places- preferably cheap or public places that would provide a nice setting for a wedding ceremony?? I hope someone can hekp me out. Thanx in Advance.

I don't know what the costs are, but the Hyatt beach area is nice. I also noticed that there was a wedding on the beach near The Warf restaurant.

Most people use Smith's Cove or Public Beach (Sir Francis Drake) next to Sea Grape Beach.

Are you sure you want to get married at that port? The only reason I ask is since it's a tender port, sometimes weather and sea conditions means the ship can't stop there. It would be horrible to have everything all planned (and paid for) on the island and have to skip the port.

Unfortunatly I don't have any other option- I'm not paying the cruise a ton of money for a wedding that isn't going to be worth the money I'd pay them and I can't get married on any of the other islands since the Caymens are the only one you can get married the same day you pull into port- So I just have to take a chance.

Sea Grape Beach is a very nice spot...or the public beach right next to it. Calico Jacks is right there at Sea Grape Beach and does a wonderful job catering special events!

I don't mean to be a gloomy gus, but on our first cruise to Grand Cayman, a couple was also scheduled to be married in port. However, we were unable to tender in and so we just had another day at sea.

 

You may want to have a backup plan in case that happens.

I am getting married in the Caymans in February, I did book it w/ the cruise ship but I wish I wouldn't have now. On the wedding and honeymoon thread there is a post that is about cayman weddings I can't remember but I think its on page 11 or 12. It listed a few places but the only one I remember is
