Sun Norway Deck Cabin 0064 or 0066?

Recommended Posts

Hello. Has anyone stayed in one of these balcony cabins, which are all the way aft? 0064 is on the back corner -- 150 sq. ft. with big 88 sq. ft. balcony. 0066 is on the very back between mini suites and bigger suites and is tiny inside and out (150 sq. ft. + 48 sq. ft. balcony). They are category BD. We were trying to get the BA balcony cabins that others on CC have recommended but they were already reserved on the cruise we selected. So, can we move in a suite this tiny or will we have to jump overboard to get some room to breathe? :D

Go ahead and jump! :D

Seriously, there aren't any aft facing BA's on the Sun. Regular BA's on the Sun are sized like 0063, 173 sq.ft. with a 48 sq.ft. balcony, for a total of 211 sq.ft.

0064 has a total of 238 sq.ft. 0066 has a total of 198 sq.ft. with an aft view.

Which do you prefer, more outside space, more inside space, or an aft facing view? Choices aren't always bad.......

There are forward facing BA's on deck 11 on the Sun, are sized like cabin 1002 with 215 sq.ft. with a 93 sq.ft. balcony, for a total of 308 sq.ft.

Now, that's big!

Thank you for the information! We are all over the place at this point, changing our minds from BA to BD to AE. Feels like being a kid in a candy store. Can you tell that this will be our first cruise?

Nope!

How many in your party? If just two, the smaller aft facing cabin should be large enough. There's less wind aft, and you can see both port and starboard. In Alaska, the forward facing cabins can get a little more chilly at night from the winds.

Check out the cabins on the Deck Plans at the NCL web site and make sure you pick a cabin appropriately marked for your party. Don't pick a cabin that sleeps 3 when you have a party of 4.
