Just jump right into the lagoon. The water can be from 5 feet to I think about 9'. They aren't really secluded you are next to other OWB's but you can't hear any noise from any neighbors. We had extremely stiff currents and made it impossible to do good snorkeling. If you aren't a strong swimmer you need to wear a vest. There were a lot of fish and we had good photo ops. Again, the current was really really bad. I have heard it can sometimes not have any. While we were there the water was over our head around almost every OWB.
