It might be OK for snorkeling, but definitely not for diving with a 10 ft depth rating.

Very true. I was really most impressed with the waterproof headphones. I'd be interested in reading a white paper on how those work. I understand that sound can propogate through any medium, and actually the higher that medium's density the better sound will travel. ... I guess if you make the driver out of a waterproof material and thoroughly insulate any current carrying wires you'd be ok. Still pretty cool technology though.
