Wineries? - Santorini, Dubrovnik & Florence

New to posting - so hope this is correct.

We love to do wine tasting and are doing a Med cruise in a couple weeks. Doing Santorini and Dubrovnik on our own and have full days, so would really like to taste some local wine. Any suggestions?

 

 

We have a private driver in Livorno who says that we can stop at a winery on the way back from Florence. Again, any sugesstions on a winery that is not too "commercial" and not too far off the route from Florence to Livorno?

You did fine with your post! I don't know about Santorini and Dubrovnik, but if you have a private driver for Florence, they usually have a favorite winery or two they like to take people to. You could ask him to take you somewhere a little off the beaten path, depending on how much time he allows for the stop. Enjoy!

I have heard Santos Winery mentioned, and I think the views from Santos are supposedly spectacular.

We stopped at Santos Winery this past October. The winery sits along the ocean and has awesome views. It is also a function facility (probably weddings, etc.). They have a nice selection of local wines you can sample and buy. We were part of an all day tour.
