Alcohol Question

I know the Elation has started having u pick up ur purchased booze on debarktation morning, does anyone know how they do it on the Sensation

where did they have you pick it up at on Elation? DH and I are going on our first cruise on Elation in June, and just wondering what to expect? Thanks!:)

In the Mark twain library, on the morning of debarktation and it was a hassle, long lines, dont like this new method and if the sensation is doing this not gonna ask my daughter to pick me up any

Carnival apparently saw the error in thier ways on this one and made a very quick adjustment. Ours was back in our room when we got back from HMC on our final day about 3 or so. We just carried it off in the am. No problem with this at all - and this was the case with everyone on board.

I hope it was a one-time event, maybe there was a staffing problem and they could not deliver to cabin as usual.

 

There are enough things to worry about on debarkation morning - I can't imagine Carnival wanting to add to the frenzy!

I will be on the Conquest in Sept, 2006. Where is the best place to buy liquor at: Is it cheaper in the duty free place on ship or at one of the ports? If so which one? On the ship do they sell B&B and Tanqueray?

I have always found the liquor prices on the ship to be the cheapest, we always buy the Crusin Rum, it about 50% off the prices we pay for it here in the states.

i bought 2 fifths of absolute for like 21.99 on the elation, about the same as one fifth at home

We are scheduled to depart on May 28th on the Destiny. We are looking forward to the cruise. Can you get Corona Light as a Beer choice on the Destiny? Price?

My husband and I took a cruise on Royal Carribbean last year. The ship allowed us to by alchocal on board and pay a $10 fee to take it to the room right then. Does anyone know if Carnival has the same policy?? thanks!!
