Safety locks on Dawns Balcony doors

We are travelling with a 5 year old and would like to avoid him getting onto the balcony unless we are with him. We are travelling on a minisuite on the Dawn and am wondring if there are safety locks as they have on the Disney ships or if there is any mechanism that can help keep him indoors

Just got off the Dawn on Saturday. There are safety locks on the balcony doors about 5ft 6 inchs up on the right hand side. Foiled my very tall 6 year old

Took us about half the cruise to find the lock - it is on the edge of the sliding door which is in the middle when the door is closed (hope that helps you find it).

On my last cruise I had my 2 and 5 year old with. I wanted to have the balcony opened a little to hear the waves and get some fresh sea air. I bought 2 thick rubber suction cups (made for this purpose) at Babies-R-Us (not sure if this store is around you), The also sell them online too. I opened the door the amount I wanted about 6 inches and put the suction cups on and they worked so well. The boys could not open the door more. It was great. Have fun on your trip!
