How Much Sun On a Balcony?

sorry, another balcony newbie question:

 

We'll be sailing on the Legend to the Eastern Carribean in September. How much sun can we (she, really...) typically expect to get on the balcony? I know it must vary some by location, but do they tend to be pretty shaded? Should she still expect to have to go out on deck to get some good sun on her face?

We were on the miracle (2 different locations) and majority of the balcony was shade. :cool:

We have sailed on the Legend twice and had a fair amount of sun on the both cruises. Probably the cabin in the aft got more sun.

It all depends on which side of the ship you're on and the heading of the ship. I wouldn't count on being able to get a whole lot of sun on a balcony.

We just booked our first balcony cruise on the Valor. I am hoping we have a decent amount of sun too. Looking forward to just relaxing for awhile each day, and enjoy the sunshine!

Expect more shade than sun.

You should see Sun on half of your trip...

and shade on the other...

 

On our Conquest Cruise, we had incredible sunrises for the first half of the cruise as we headed south and sun in the morning, but shade in the afternoon...

 

but...coming back as we headed north...

we had shade in the morning and sun in the afternoon...

and wonderful Sunsets every night.
