Air plane Ticket Question

We received our documents for May 20th sailing and it said something about E tickets for our plane tickets. Does this sound right or should we have received actual plane tickets?

I haven't booked through the cruise line, but from my experience, e-tickets are the norm for most flights anymore. The only time I have gotten hard copies was when I used frequent flyer miles.

E tickets are the same thing as tickets except you need to go online and print them out. They should be in your email or go directly to the website. The standard now is E-tickets they work the same as tickets and you can registar at the computers at the airport instead of waiting in the long line, they work better and are more widely used.

The E-ticket is correct. You can use that ticket to confirm your flight prior to departure then when you go to the airport & check-in you hand them that book, with your ID, they then check in your bags and give you your boarding passes & baggage claim tickets. Enjoy your cruise!

Yes, e-tickets are normal. Very easy to use too! Just bring your confirmation number and photo ID and you're set.

All you need to print off is your confirmation number. You show that with your ID at the ticket counter.

Are you referring to the document book from RCCL? If you purchased your air through RCCL, I would assume your airline confirmation numbers are in there. If so, that's all you need; no need to print anything. There will be kiosks at the airport. You can scan any form of ID that has a magnetic strip. It's very easy. There may be E-ticket instructions in your travel documents.

You do not need to take a confirmation number either. You just need your ID. Go to the ticket counter when you get to the airport and hand them your ID. They will print out a boarding pass and check in your luggage.

Proceed through security with your boarding pass and ID in hand. After security, go to the gate and wait for them to announce your boarding. When they tell you it is time to board, goto the door and hand them your boarding pass. Walk down the ramp and onto the plane. Find your row and seat. Sit down and enjoy your flight.
