Time Zones?

Recommended Posts

We will be cruising on Mariner in April 2007. Does anyone know if the ship will stay on Port Canaveral time or change as we get to different ports? I called RCI but the lady sounded kind of confused and didn't know what I was talking about. I would like to know because we want to do an excursion in Cozumel that starts at 9:30 but our itinerary says we dock at 10:00. If there is an hour difference that will be helpful, but I am not sure because all of this time zone stuff confuses me. Thanks.

You will always go by "ship time".....pay close attention to that especially when in ports with other time zones....keep your watch set to your ship's clock.

Which is the same time as Florida, EST.

If the excursion in through the ship, you have not a thing to worry about. If it is an independent excursion, you might be cutting it close. I don't know if your ship will dock or tender, but if you tender in, it takes a while.

Have a great cruise!
