What is the best excursion post Wilma?

Just wanted to clarify that most of the damage was to the shallower reefs and coral heads. If you are willing to go the deeper sites via boat, the snorkeling is still excellent. There is still lots to see at the shallower sites in terms of marine life but not what it was.

I didn't try it myself, but a family we met on our Carnival cruise in April went to Paradise Beach and took their Cozumel snorkeling tour.

They said it was great, their daughter was thrilled because she saw a turtle and - like Cozgal and Solita say - they said the reef is much better on the boat trips.

Has anyone else tried this tour? Think I'll give it a go next time, it's only 2 hrs, but $35 is a lot cheaper than most the cruise ship tours!
