SeaFlint Posted May 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2006 Is anyone (here) travelling these dates? We'll be there with two kids. We're sending some luggage ahead. Does that work well?
SamanthasDad Posted May 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2006 We are tavelling on the 15th. Only taking one Child (18 months) As the cruise leaves from and returns to Southampton we don't have problems with luggage, as we live a few hours drive away. mana1 Posted May 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2006 We're leaving on June 9th and have 3 kids ages 4, 7 and 9. It should be fun. How old are your kids?
SeaFlint Posted May 20, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted May 20, 2006 Ours are one month short of nine and two months short of six. How did you arrange all five of you? Two cabins? Or do they have one that sleeps five?
jtimmer Posted May 20, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2006 we are on the June 9th crossing and are bringing our two kids, ages 6 and 9. We are bringing a nanny, who will be in one cabin with the kids, and my wife and I will be in another. We are sending our luggage via White Star. SeaFlint Posted May 20, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted May 20, 2006 We did something similar. Two adjoining cabins. I wondered if they had a suite with two bedrooms, but I haven't been able to find them if there are any. Sounds like we'll have quite a few kids running around. That'll be fun. jtimmer Posted May 20, 2006 #7 Share Posted May 20, 2006 we just have two separate Q5 suites. Unfortunately they are not even on the same deck (9 and 10) because one is a triple and one is a double. But, the kids will be with an adult , so we should be all set. They'll have fun tracking us down.
SeaFlint Posted May 20, 2006 Author #8 Share Posted May 20, 2006 Good planning. And I'm sure for a small tip the purser would have one heck of a time helping your kids and nanny find your room. "Um, no, I believe they are on deck sixteen.""No, my records show they left the ship at Vigo. Odd..." ;)
mana1 Posted May 21, 2006 #9 Share Posted May 21, 2006 We hav 2 adjoining rooms for the 5 of us. It's good to know there will be other kids on board. We're taking our kids out of school early so I thought there wouldn't be many kids.

SeaFlint Posted May 22, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted May 22, 2006 Which deck are you on? We're on 6 and I noticed adjoining cabins next to our adjoining cabins. The adjoining cabins look like a great way to go. Kids in one, parents in the other. (Unofficially, of course.;) )
mana1 Posted May 22, 2006 #12 Share Posted May 22, 2006 We're on Deck 5. It will be nice to have separate rooms.
