New Waves Ultimate Snorkeling

I hope we get some comments from folks who have done this thru the cruise ships. We're booked for this thru the Crown Princess on the 7/20 sailing. Anxious for some feedback. Hopefully it's better than the snorkeling trip we took in Cozumel a couple months ago. It was awful. They "Sailed" only a few hudred yards from the ship and snorkeled in 20 feet of water w/no fish. Hopefully this will be better. I can't find it now, but I did see where somebody said you can walk down the beach and see the ship snorkel group just off the beach. I hope that's not the case. Anybody?????

I did this one back in July, and thought it was fairly reasonable. Coral seemed to be in fairly good shape, not necessarily a huge number of fish. There was a barracuda that hangs out in the area of the one stop back then. One of the stops had a noticeable current through the area. Wasn't overly crowded in my opinion. Staff was quite friendly. Overall I'd say it was a fairly decent snorkeling trip.
