Yoga Mom Posted May 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2006 I am sailing on the June 20 voyage out of CIVITAVECCHIA. I have tried to book excursions. Each one I chose says unavailable. I tried others just to test availability. Everyone says the same. That seems impossible. I phoned HAL excursion line. They say leave a number and we will call you. Suggestions? Also, is anyone booking excursion from non-cruise line companies at any of the ports. If so, please share. Thanks.
user8 Posted May 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2006 I am also on the June 10 cruise and have had no problem booking excursions on line. I booked them some time ago though, so they may be having problems with their system now.
wyocruiser Posted May 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2006 I just book excursions on this sailing yesterday. When I first tried to book, it did say that they were no longer accepting reservations; however, I just kept trying and eventually the system let me in. rockinjo Posted May 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2006 Yoga Mom. . .I must admit I booked all our excursions back in March, so it's possible a lot of them are already booked, but I can't believe they are all filled up. Are you doing it on line? Several of the ports we felt we could go off on our own, but ports like La Goulette, I think you want to keep on trying either on line or through your travel agent. I'll be glad to share with you what we booked if you can get through. . .here's hoping you do. Joan
bepsf Posted May 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 23, 2006 Just for grins - why not try calling HAL Shipservices and ask if they can have someone from the Shore Ex Desk call you back at least to confirm that all the excursions are completely booked? The ladies over there at Shipservices are really good - Arica Hawley is the coordinator for Noordam & and she's been extraordinarily helpful for me in the past - I'm sure she'll be able to help somehow. :)
