BrittaniMV Posted May 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2006 I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on what the government fees normally run for a 7 day caribbean cruise with Seabourn? Are there any additional charges like port fees? Thanks
Iamboatman Posted May 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2006 To give you meaningful information it really depends how you are being quoted the price: from a TA, a website or Seabourn directly. Seabourn generally includes all charges, but taxes, in its quotations, but many travel agents quote the base fare, plus extras and taxes. Just the taxes on a Caribbean cruise can run anywhere, port dependent, from $10 to $50 per person...more or less.
LaPaloma Posted May 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2006 How are your plans coming? Are you still doing the March trip? We have been hearing of the ships filling up fast...thus..wanted to warn you.
BrittaniMV Posted May 24, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted May 24, 2006 Thanks for the warning, LaPaloma. I am hoping to book next week. I will do it ASAP now that we hear the ship is getting full.
bldsld Posted May 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2006 Unless it's the Panama Canal, taxes are quite reasonable in the Caribbean. Denyse
