Spicey477 Posted June 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2004 Hi there, first timer here, and I have a question for you cruising professionals! I have been quoted a great price for a balcony on the CP this August. It is in mid-Aug, so it is a bit higher than late Aug/early Sept rates. The quote was with a category BD balcony. Is this a "private" category that does not have balconies that are staggered above? If I am not mistaken, I think it is the aloha and baja decks that are category BD. I would like to make sure that the balcony is private before I book this. Thanks in advance for any help! Spicey477
sunnyv Posted June 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2004 They will be covered by the decks above :)
mscloyd Posted June 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2004 Are you on the Coral P. or Caribbean P.? If it's the Coral, the BD is partially covered on B, covered with a smaller balcony on C, covered on D.
Spicey477 Posted June 29, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted June 29, 2004 MsCloyd, It would be the Caribbean Princess, I should have specified:) I am guessing that I am safe (privacy-wise) on a category BD, and it being so close to the sail date (Aug 14) there is probably no moving up the ranks due to it seeming pretty booked up. I am just happy to be able to go on the cruise, you can set me up a cot in the galley!
