Iceland 3rd July QE2

I am going on the QE2 cruise to Iceland on 3rd July. In the 2005 brochure it shows Reykjavik and Akureyri as ports where tenders need to be used, but in the 2006 brochure it does not show this. Same for the preliminary 2007 brochure. Can anyone tell me which is correct? Also if tenders need to be used in these ports, are the rides to the shore long?

Hello QE2 Fan!

Good to hear that another member is on the cruise. i'm on it too. There's a thread in the roll call section, so I would advice you to show up there!

I don't think that the ship is at anchor for both port in Iceland, and is using tenders. But it would be interesting to know!
