KenzSailing Posted May 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2006 We are thinking of splurging for our 25th anniversary next year, with a TA on QM2. The Queen Mary/Elizabeth suites look particularly inviting. Can anyone help us with insight on these suites, vs other QG accomodations? Thanks much! pepperrn Posted May 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2006 We are thinking of splurging for our 25th anniversary next year, with a TA on QM2. The Queen Mary/Elizabeth suites look particularly inviting. Can anyone help us with insight on these suites, vs other QG accomodations? Thanks much! One of these two would be my choice if I could afford QG class. They are very spacious (I'm sure you've already seen pictures) You get two lounge areas, one overlooking the bow. A dining area with room to entertain. The other sitting room has a balcony alongside that is private (unlike the duplex suites). These two rooms mean that you've both front and side views to enjoy. There are two bathrooms (one with tub). Walk in closets, his and her wash basins and a real feel of privacy and space. Private access from the outside scenic elevators. Downsides? well, there are connecting doors to the next suite. You can be seen on the balcony from that elevator. You are very high up (under the bridge almost), well forward and the lounge at the front is right out (over!) on the side of the ship. Therefore if you're prone to the movement of the ship, on a TA, you'll feel it here! You are also a long walk from the Queens Grill and Lounge. Hope this helps. KenzSailing Posted May 30, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted May 30, 2006 Thanks for your reply. They sound as enticing as I thought (little worried about ship motion, though...)
