summercruise2015 Posted June 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2006 I am 27 and my husband is 29 and we will be in Barbados this August on a RCL cruise. We want to go to a beach that is fun and "happening". We want music, and drinks, but also relaxation and hamocks, lol. Any suggestions on where we should go? Thanks
copper6606 Posted June 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2006 I have been doing a little research on this topic myself and the Boat Yard sounds great. It is a $3, taxi ride from the pier , there is an entrance fee but that includes a drink, beach chairs ,water trampoline, rope swing ,iceburg climb and there are banana boats there for limited times[whatever that means] . The bar and music make it sound like a happenning place. WE will be there on NCL Pearl on March 6,2007 , how about you?:D

NRG Posted June 8, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2006 In Dec 2005 we paid $12pp, that included a lounge chair, 1 tropical drink and use of the water toys and restrooms. I paid an additional $2 or maybe $3 for an umbrella that covered both our chairs. It is a short taxi ride from the dock, we paid $3/pp each way for the taxi, and there are plenty of them waiting to take you back to the ship.
