Hawaiian Cruises

The waters of Hawaii extend 1500mi around the islands. NO gambling is allowed inside these waters. So even Princess, RCL, etc must shut down the casinos at the 1500mi mark - or about half way between LA and HI.

NONE of the NCLA ships have casinos. I am not even sure the Wind gets out of the 1500mi range to use its casinos either.

I've never heard about a 1500 mile boundary. Princess, Carnival, and RCL all operate their casinos when they're between islands as far as I know (as in sailing from Maui to Oahu for instance). But it's true that NCL is restricted because of their agreement with the state of Hawaii and will not operate their casinos (or will not install casinos on Hawaii based ships) while near Hawaii.
