raynvic Posted June 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2006 We booked the 3 hour snorkeling tour with El Tigre on May 25th. We were picked up at the pier taken to the marina near downtown to pay the remainder of the tour fee and board the Catamaran. We then set sail for 2 snorkeling spots, one had a ship wreck and a large coral reef and the other was snorkeling with turtles. El Tigre also has a 5 hour tour which includes lunch. Since we took only the 3 hour, we disembarked at a beach right by the turtles where we were met by a van that took us back to the pier. The others that stayed aboard had lunch. I highly recommend this tour as both reasonably priced and great customer service.

raynvic Posted June 20, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted June 20, 2006 yes, there was a part of a family on our tour that had 2 young daughters. They did well and seemed to enjoy the snorkeling. I would guess their ages to be between 7 and 11.

WE are considering doing this, but want to know how many people they crowd on. Also, is there shade on the catamaran? Thanks in advance!
